In Volume 8, the 1820-1860 Census Indexes were presented, and a transcription of the 1830 Census was published in Volume 13. Other volumes have had articles onGeorgia marriages, etc.I have cross-checked all of this data and created over 300 footnotes to help in your research. The usualguideline of limiting the volume to about 50 pages has been waived to allow the 1870 census to be included.I have included marriage information from other sources, where applicable. You will note that although the 1880 census is not included in this volume, there are numerous referencesto it, and I have transcribed it, also - I just don’t have enough space to include it here.Ben Franklin, Editor FFRU5847 Sandstone DriveDurham, NC [email protected] nethttp://freepages.genealogy.rootsweb.com/ ffru/FFRU Volume 58 - Page 2
