You and Your HomeTrack’s SFI tech inspector are responsible for the tech and legality of your vehicle prior to the event. NHRA will be on sitefor rule compliance inspections.RUN CARDSTo obtain your run card see your team captain, they will have all your run cards.TOWER ACCESSNo one will be allowed in the tower. Have your team captain contact the tower with any questions.DIAL-INSAll dial-ins must be on the RIGHT SIDE OR REAR OF THE VEHICLE PRIOR TO REACHING THE CROSS OVER BRIDGE behindthe tower. Once you reach this line there is no changing of dial-ins. Dial in boards must be mounted to the vehicle andvisible to the tower and track crew at all times. If your number and dial-in are not visible and permanently attached toyour vehicle, your team will NOT RECEIVE POINTS and could lead to a disqualification. Digital boards must remain on andvisible to the tower and your competitor.LANE CHOICELane choice will be designated by the staging director, who will direct you to your given lane.STAGINGThere is no deep staging allowed. Courtesy staging is in effect. Bring Proof if necessary (Track and Racer).A team protested and proven to have competitors that did not participate at their facility at the minimum 2Summit ET Bracket events, will be prohibited from participating the following year. Covid extension policyA Racer representing a track at which you did not compete twice (2 Summit ET points events) during the yearwill be disqualified from event, loss of any earned points, and loss of team spot.ROC entries for Super Pro, Pro Footbrake, and Motorcycle must be on the team’s 60-member roster.Team Member and Vehicle may participate on only one team.All participants must be NHRA Members and have an NHRA competition license of Level 3,4,5,6, or 7.Driver must be licensed for the ET and speed of the vehicle.Teams limited to a maximum of 10 Alternates.To replace a driver with an Alternate Driver they must be on either the team roster or on the alternate rosterthat was submitted to Host Track prior to the event. No exceptions!Each team is required to have a Team Captain to act as its spokesperson to race officials.Each team is required to have all team vehicles inspected by an SFI-approved technical inspector. An SFIinspector from another team may inspect vehicles. (NHRA Certification Team will be on hand for spot inspectionto verify compliance).A competitor found in violation of the NHRA rules will be removed from competition or be given one warning tofix the issue, depending on the severity of the infraction.Dial ins and Dial in boards must be mounted to the vehicle and visible to the competitor, tower, and track crewat all times. Digital boards must remain on and visible to the tower and competitor.Race of Champions, JR Street, and High School participants will not be included in team points.Motorcycle will be an all-run field; they may be included in the track team points.Team parking at the event will be determined by previous year’s finish, with the best parking going to the topfinishing teams.Time trial sessions will be conducted by class.Team lane assignments will be drawn Friday.Bye runs: 1st round bye run will be based on the final time trial in each class and go to the racer with the bestreaction time. Tie will go to the first racer who does it first.Bye runs: 2nd round bye runs will be determined buy the best winning reaction time from 1st round. If there is atie, the first racer to have the reaction will receive the bye run. Bye runs will carry over starting 2nd rd. until theracer either loses or is awarded the bye run.High School competitors will be eligible for their team if the team does not exceed its limit of 60.All competitors under 18 years of age must have an NHRA Minor Release form on file at event.All rule interpretations will be handled by the event director.Any team protests must be filed by the team captain, with the event director by 10:00 AM Friday.YOU MUST HAVE A DRIVER’S LICENSE TO OPERATE GOLF CARTS OR MOTORIZED VEHICLES ON THE PROPERTY.Anyone without a license found driving a vehicle will be cause for disqualification for the vehicle’s owner/raceteam.1 driver can participate in 2 classes in the same car. Summit Racing Series National Championship Drawing Held in NorwalkIn a special drawing for the NHRA Summit Racing Series National Championship, four NHRA divisionswill be selected to send an extra racer to compete for the national championship event.Brian Lohnes and Alan Reinhart have joined each other from the land of virtual entertainment and pulledthe Wild Card Drawing.The first seven racers in each class are made up of the NHRA Summit Racing Series Division Finalschampions in each of the NHRA divisions 1 through 5, divisions 6 and 7 send their Race of Championswinner to the national championship competition.Wild Cards that were drawn for the 2021 Summit National Championship are:Super Pro D5Pro D4-This will be the ROC winner from Pro FootbrakeSportsman D6Motorcycle D3Good luck to you all and have a great weekend of racing.
