INSTALLATION & LAYING INSTRUCTIONSDRY INSTALLATION ONTO STABLE GROUNDDig the foundations of the patio 15mm deep. Delimit the area with aconcrete curb. Level the surface. Install the slabs onto a dry mixture of massconcrete (with minimal amount of water as possible). Fix the slabs side with ajoint of 3-5mm. FIll the joints withmortar using a trowel.DRY INSTALLATION ONTO SAND SUBSTRATETiles should be placed with a 3-5mm joint onto a substrate made up of afirst layer of gravel and pebbles (15-20cm) and a second layer of sand (5-10cm).This allows for dry-installation with no need for adhesives or grouts.DRY INSTALLATION ONTO GRAVELIf the area to be tiled is reasonably leveled, installation onto gravel is agood option. Start by removing the grass and dig to a depth of around 20cm.Remove the dug ground and pile it along the sides of the area using a rake tocreate a long and low layer. Edge the dug surface with wood planks of 20cm inwidth and make them protrude around 1cm. Fill the recesses with 10cm layerof gravel. This area can then be used to place garden furniture such as a picnictable, benches, chairs and a barbeque.INSTALLATION FOR RAISED FLOOROnce the right percentage of inclination for the water runoff is considered for the installation plane, its easy to supportthe pedalstals on the waterproofing membraneof the floor area. After a first adjustment, theinstallation is quick and easy thanks to the selfleveling head that automatically compensates upto 5%. The use of an adjustment clef allows youto pinpoint accuracy. First, it is necessary to checkthe planarity of the surface and the substrate inorder to proceed with a correct installation of thepanels. Avoid perimeter cuts smaller than 10cm.Place down a single module as your guide,followed by other panels around it to create aT-pattern. These panels will build the orthogonalaxis from which to start tiling the surface. Theperimeter cuts can be trimmed using a diamonddisk blade or a water cooled tile clipper. Nopost-installation procedures are required. Thepanels can be easily removed for inspectionusing a suction cup.
