Soft Token FAQsWhat is a soft token?A soft token is a software app that is downloadedand installed on your Apple or Android smartphone.The app adds an extra layer of protection to yourBusiness Online Banking account by generatinga one-time password each time you log in. Thisrandom string of numbers is used when logginginto your account or completing certain transactionssuch as ACH or wires.Who can use soft tokens?Talk to your business banker about getting approvedfor use of the DIGIPASS for Business Banking softtoken. Once approved you’ll be able to control whichemployees can access your accounts via the softtoken.How do I enroll my business?Ask your business banker about using soft tokensthen complete the necessary steps to get started.Watch this video on how to set up and use the freeDIGIPASS for Business Banking soft token app.Where do I find the app?You can find and download the free soft token app,which works on Apple or Android smartphones andother devices, by searching for DIGIPASS for BusinessBanking in either the Apple or Google Play appstores.How does it work?The soft token app protects access to your BusinessOnline Banking account by generating random, onetime passwords that you and approved employeeswill use each time you log in to your account. It canalso be used to complete high-value transactionssuch as ACH or wires. The one-time string ofnumbers, combined with the PIN you set up inBusiness Online Banking, makes it nearly impossibleto hack your account.When if I enter the wrong numberwhen logging in?If you enter the wrong one-time password/PINcombination, just re-enter the correct numbersgenerated by the app and your PIN.What if I lose my smartphone?When setting up the soft token, you have the optionto register more than one device. So if you shouldmisplace your smartphone, you can log in withanother device. Another option would be to get anew phone and have us re-register the new phone.At that point, you would need to also re-install theapp.Can I use it with my Business Mobile Bankingapp?Yes, the DIGIPASS for Business Banking app can beused when logging in or completing transactionsvia Business Mobile Banking. Instead of followingdesktop activation process, you’ll generate a onetime password from the DIGIPASS for BusinessBanking app to log in from your mobile banking appor when you complete a transaction.Can I switch from a hard token to a soft token?With approval, you can switch from a hard to a softtoken by logging into your Business Online Bankingaccount, selecting the Profile page and following theinstructions to make the switch. You’ll then turn inyour hard token.What are the best ways to keepmy app and account secure?You should always start by enabling the passcodeor biometric access to your smartphone in orderto protect access to your device. The DIGIPASS forBusiness Banking app also gives you the option tocreate a regular password or to set up a biometriclogin so you can then generate a one-time passwordor a digital signature for accessing your account.
