Segal Education AwardInterest accrual payments Student loans will accrue interest during your AmeriCorps term. AmeriCorps will pay the interest that accrued on your loans with what is called an“Interest Accrual Payment.” In addition to your education award Request once your term of service is complete. Make your Interest Accrual Payment request BEFORE you use the entire balance ofyour award, or you will forfeit your Interest Accrual Payment.
