Great for people withallergies, asthma, COPD, or arthritis.4.CLEAN: No mess like wood, coal or kerosene.5.GREEN: Uses less energy to produce the heat you need to live. Thus, leaving a smaller carbonfootprint and protecting our environment.6.PATRIOTIC: Buy American electric not foreign oil!Regardless if you want to heat a small or large home, a new or old home, a large business or a smallbusiness, infrared is the best type of heat for you DIFFERENCES BETWEEN INFRAREDAND COMBUSTION BASED HEATINFRARED HEAT means that the air in your home is being heated in a more natural way. This isnot only healthier, it is also safer. Infrared heat is non-combustion based. The moisture molecules areleft in the air creating a more even heat. The ceiling temperature will only be 2-3 degrees warmer thanthe floor. This means there is no wasted heat at the ceiling. This is especially helpful if you have vaultedor cathedral ceilings.COMBUSTION BASED HEAT burns the moisture molecules out of the air, causing the hot air torise quickly. The average ceiling temperature is 6-17 degrees warmer than the floor. Most heat sourcesare combustion based (i.e. Oil, Kerosene, Natural Gas, Wood, Propane, Electric Baseboard, Coal andMost Space Heaters). Combustion based space heaters are the #1 cause of house fires in America.Combustion based heat also burns the oxygen out of the air, making it more difficult to breathe.Page 9
